Bernie and Ruthie live a couple of hundred yards down the road from the cabin just next to the green bridge that is visible in some of our photos. They were amongst the first people that we met when we moved to the site in 2004 and have been amazingly welcoming and helpful throughout the project, offering endless encouragement and loans of tools. This year we were finally able to invite them to be our first dinner guests at the cabin.
